Polly is campaigning with other Kent Labour MPs to bring Eurostar back to Ashford. Eurostar axed its services during the pandemic in 2020, and despite calls from MPs, the company is yet to return services or commit to a timeline.
According to the Good Growth Foundation, reopening could inject £534 million a year into the visitor economy – up to £2.7 billion over five years.
