Polly has enjoyed a busy schedule of visits in Westwood, including Studio J1H, Skinny Dip Coffee, and several small creative businesses based at the studios on Westwood Industrial Estate. The visits included meeting Kev, the designer of the original Pits and Perverts poster associated with LGBT support for 1980s striking miners.

She also met with Christine and Heather from Phases Pole & Aerial Studio to hear about their plans to expand and introduce circus skills for children. The day continued with lunch at Tesco at Westwood Cross, followed by a tour of Chartwell House Care Home, where she met residents and unveiled the home’s new Veteran Friendly plaque.
