Polly has visited Palm Bay Primary School in Margate where she met with the student eco group to learn about the extraordinary work they are doing to prioritise and champion the environment.
During her visit, the pupils spoke passionately about their efforts to care for nature in the school grounds, promote recycling, and make their school a greener, more sustainable place for everyone.
Speaking after the visit Polly said:
“As a lifelong environmental campaigner myself, it was fantastic to see the pupils at Palm Bay Primary School getting so involved with championing environmentalism and nature at their school and in our community. They are an inspiration and should be so proud of everything they are achieving.”
