Polly has criticised Reform UK’s broken promise to cut council taxes in Kent. She said:
“Today’s announcement of a whopping 4% council tax hike is a kick in the teeth to Kent voters who trusted the leaflets proclaiming Reform UK would “reduce waste and cut your taxes”. Labour is providing Kent County Council with millions in extra funding, yet since arriving this shambolic administration has done nothing but fight among themselves and are now hiking taxes to mask their failure. Kent deserves better.”
