Polly has held community coffee mornings in Ramsgate and Margate to discuss important local issues with constituents. At the coffee mornings, residents spoke to Polly about action to tackle corridor care and NHS waiting lists, improving parking provision, supporting young people to get homes and jobs, and reforming the SEND system.
Speaking after the coffee mornings, Polly said:
“It’s really important that I get the opportunity to hear from you about what you want me to be speaking up for when I get to parliament. That’s why I do these coffee mornings. Sometimes I can fix thing, and sometimes I can’t, but this is about making sure we have the conversations that matter here in Thanet.”
