Polly has marked Armed Forces Day at a number of events in Thanet. She said:
“What a brilliant Armed Forces Day. I started the day at a Veterans Breakfast, where I spoke to people about vet to vet peer support and helped veterans with any casework issues they had. It was great to be joined by Cllr Helen Whitehead, Thanet District Councillor for the council’s covenant with the armed forces.
Afterwards, I attended the Ramsgate Drumhead Service for Armed Forces Day, to commemorate and show support for our armed forces and veterans in East Thanet.”
